Gabrielle Millett Biddeford, Maine Because of a rare metabolic disorder, Gabrielle has brain damage which causes balance issues, poor muscle tone, and difficulty with her fine motor skills and speech. A dog would be her friend and help with daily activities. The reason I want an assistance dog is because I love animals. My parents work very hard to include me in the community but I need a lot of assistance. Having a companion that may help me be a little more independent and give me a little responsibility to care for sounds great. Also, I have been asking for a dog since I was 3 years old!
