The Worcester Firefighters 6K was started after the loss of six firefighters in the Worcester Cold Storage Fire on December 3, 1999 and has evolved into Worcester's biggest community and family event.

NEADS attended as a recipient of some of the proceeds that were generously raised by the Worcester Firefighters and their community.
