On November 5, NEADS staff, Board, volunteer puppy raisers, friends, family members, and supporters came together to recognize 24 of our newest Service Dog teams at the Fall 2017 Graduation.

Stacy Berloff, with NEADS Service Dog Billy, and Myra Berloff, Stacy’s mother and former Director of the Massachusetts Office on Disability, were the guest speakers. Stacy has been part of the NEADS family since 1997, when she was matched with her first Service Dog, Ricki. Billy joined Stacy’s life in 2009.

Attendees also heard the personal stories of the graduating teams and were treated to a demonstration of typical Service Dog team “on the street” encounters. Many thanks to Monty Tech for hosting us, and to all who took part in this very special celebration.
