NEADS World Class Service Dogs has received a $60,544 grant from The Health Foundation of Central Massachusetts to purchase a new handicap accessible van to safely transport clients and service dogs.  The grant was one of fifteen Activation Fund grants recently awarded by the Foundation totaling over $1,000,000.

“The goal of the Activation Fund is to enable an organization to move to a higher level of capacity and to then continue to function at that higher level after the grant ends,” noted Dr. Jan Yost, President and CEO of the Foundation. “This van will enhance NEADS client and dog training to assist those with disabilities, and the Foundation is pleased to support this effort,” Yost added.
