Accepted Clients – March 2023 update

We’re grateful that so many of you were able to join us for the series of Town Halls that we held in March. We were able to introduce you to our annual Check-In process – a new, more systematic approach to updating and checking in with our accepted clients – as well as answer your questions. If you were unable to join us or would like to watch again, here is a link to one of the sessions.

As discussed during these Town Halls, NEADS is instituting this yearly check in for each Accepted Client. If you haven’t already heard from us, we will be contacting you to confirm the start date of your annual Check-In or to schedule you for a Check-In. This may be by email, phone, or Zoom.

These Check-Ins will help us keep your profile up to date while we look for the right match. But please don’t wait for a Check-In if something is changing in your life. Let us know as soon as possible about changes that may include, but are not limited to:

  • Your home address, with whom you are living, phone number and email address
  • Changes in your health and any assistive devices that you use
  • Any job or volunteer changes

In addition, we require that you contact us in advance of making any changes to the number or kind of pets that you have in your home, as this could affect your match.

We stressed during the Town Halls just how much we are invested in the success of each of you from the day you were accepted, and we thank you for working with us to maintain a partnership that has its foundation in mutual respect, collaboration, and communication.
