Co-authors Jessica Kensky and Patrick Downes, along with Jessica’s Service Dog, Rescue, bring their inspirational story of Rescue & Jessica: A Life-Changing Friendship to the children of the Worcester Public Schools. Based on a real-life partnership, this best-selling children’s picture book is a heartening story of the love and teamwork between a girl and her Service Dog.

Rescue, Jessica, and Patrick arrive at 10am at Quinsigamond School, where they will meet with members of the Worcester Fire Department, Congressman McGovern, school officials, and others. They will then join the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th graders for a reading of their book.
