Q: I keep sharing my fundraising page but it doesn’t seem to have an impact. What should I do?
A: This is one of the most frequent statements that I hear from clients. Sharing your page is always a good idea but how you share it will dictate how successful those shares are. If you simply hit the share button on your fundraising page and leave it at that the link to your page will post to Facebook, but that will be it. Instead, hit that share button and then go to Facebook and add a personal comment to your post. Most people are not going to click on a link with no context, but if you add a note that grabs their attention then you’re in business.
