Specific info for institution: Leave all personal items, especially cell phone, locked in your vehicle. Cell phones aren't allowed in waiting area. Wait time can be between 10-30 minutes, depending on when you show up. Please interact as little as possible with prison visitors.

Specific info for institution: Shelter dogs in hearing model. Reminder to raisers: if an issue arises, it needs to be addressed directly to NEADS and the liaison - not to officers working.

Ideal drop off times: Sundays 12:30-2:15pm, 3:30-4:15pm, 6-8:30pm. Mondays 8:30-9am.
Times to avoid (shift changes, inmate chow and count times): MUST AVOID the following times: 6:30-8:30 am; 10:45am-12:30pm; 2:30-3:30pm; 4:30-6pm

Prison send out food? No. If you need food, contact your Council Rep or Puppy Program Assistant

MCI-Framingham

Must notify liaisons of pickup/drop off plans: by Thursday
Dog can be with WPR from: Fridays 2pm to Mondays 10am. If there is a Monday night class, pups may stay with WPR through Monday and be returned Monday night after class (by 8pm). Must have prior authorization from Primary Liaison if keeping a dog through the Monday night class.
Ideal pickup times: Fridays: 2-245pm, 315-415pm, 445-8pm. Saturdays: 8-11am.
Ideal drop off times: Sundays: 1-245pm, 315-415pm, 445-8pm. Mondays: 8-10am. May be returned Monday night by 8pm ONLY IF 1) there is a NEADS class that night you are attending and 2) You have authorization from the primary liaison to have the dog out through Monday night.
Times to avoid (shift changes, inmate chow and count times): Head counts and shift changes: 1115-1145am; 245-315pm; 415-445pm.
Prison send out food? No
Prison send out medications? Depends. No excess medication to be returned.

Must notify liaisons of pickup/drop off plans: by Thursday
Dog can be with WPR from: Friday 2pm-Monday 9am
Ideal pickup times: Fridays 2-230pm, 310-330pm, 515-8pm. Saturdays, 8am is earliest you can pickup.
Ideal drop off times: Sundays 1-230pm, 3-330pm, 515-8pm. Mondays 8-9am
Times to avoid (shift changes, inmate chow and count times): 1130am-12, 240-3pm, 350-410pm, 430-510pm
Prison send out food? No
Prison send out medications? Medications can be sent out but WPR cannot return any medication to the prison.

Norfolk

Must notify liaisons of pickup/drop off plans: by Thursday morning
Dog can be with WPR from: Friday 2pm-Monday 9am
Ideal pickup times: Fridays 1-415pm, 6-815pm. Saturdays 8-11a, 1-4pm.
Ideal drop off times: Sundays 1-430pm, 6-9pm. Mondays 8-10am.
Times to avoid (shift changes, inmate chow and count times): MUST AVOID following times: (chow & count) 615-8am; 1130am-1pm; 415-6pm.
Prison send out food? Yes but only if requested ahead of time by WPR, and WPR cannot return food to prison (but must return the empty container). Not all staff have access to the food, so if you request food when you're on site there will be a significant delay.
Prison send out medications? Yes

Times to avoid (shift changes, inmate chow and count times): 1015-1115am, 3-4pm, 5-515pm. Ideally, do not drop off dogs after 8pm.

NEADS Kennel

Must notify liaisons of pickup/drop off plans: Must have permission from trainer to take dog out. Must notify kennel supervisor by Friday noon.
Dog can be with WPR from: Friday 4pm - 4pm Sunday
Ideal pickup times: Fridays 4-5pm; Saturdays 9am-12
Ideal drop off times: Sundays 9am-12 or 1-4pm
Times to avoid (shift changes, inmate chow and count times): Fridays before 4pm unless you have special permission; 12-1pm (staff on lunch). After 5pm - kennel is closed.
Prison send out food? Yes
Prison send out medications? Yes, and a supervisor will train WPR on how to medicate as well.
