As you may be aware, NEADS clients commit to support NEADS by raising a minimum of $8,000 for the organization. So many clients not only hit their goal but exceed it, with the help of friends, family, and, sometimes, perfect strangers.

With this in mind, we have launched The Stephen Baum Fund, with the assistance of our lead donor, The Stephen R. Baum Foundation. A donation through the Stephen Baum Fund will support the entire NEADS Client Fundraising Team. Those who would like to support client fundraising but chose not to select a specific client’s fundraising campaign can donate via The Stephen Baum Fund. The monies will be applied as matching funds to clients’ campaigns on designated Matching Funds Days. Your donation can make a difference for not just one client, but for many.

History of The Stephen Baum Fund. The Stephen R. Baum Foundation is a nonprofit organization founded to support adults and children who are living with disabilities. This organization chose to support NEADS and come on board as the lead donor for The Stephen Baum Fund, established by NEADS in July of 2021. The purpose of this fund is to carry on the legacy of Stephen R. Baum by assisting our Service Dog and Assistance Dog clients who are working toward their fundraising goals.
