RAWZ, the meal-free natural pet food company, has been a staunch supporter of NEADS since RAWZ itself was founded. The Scott family – since 1926, three generations of pet food entrepreneurs – founded RAWZ in 2005 both to offer a high-quality health-focused product and to fuel their philanthropy. 100% of RAWZ’ profits are donated to non-profit organizations, including NEADS.

Co-founder Janet Scott says that her son Andrew, who became paraplegic after an accident in high school, first suggested that his parents use their business acumen to help people in need of Service Dogs. While Andrew doesn’t have a Service Dog himself, he understood how vital Service Dogs are to those with disabilities. Janet and her husband, Jim, had recently sold the family pet food business, but Andrew’s suggestion resonated. RAWZ now provides support to NEADS, as it has from the beginning, as well as other Service Dog and animal rescue charities. It’s a true engine for good (and good health!).
