Supporter Spotlight: Dogtopia

Thank you to the Dogtopia Foundation, Dogtopia of Warwick, RI, and Dogtopia pet parents for the recent donation to support our Service Dogs for Veterans program. The Dogtopia Foundation, in conjunction with its Dogtopia daycare locations, raises funds to support programs focused around three worthy causes, including Service Dogs for Veterans.

“We’re thrilled to be able to make this donation to NEADS,” says Liz Meyers, Dogtopia Foundation Executive Director. “Our network of dog daycares is very committed to our Service Dogs for Veterans initiative and raises money year-round by hosting in-store fundraisers like dog art days, themed raffles, and other activities. Our pet parents are more than happy to participate in these activities and contribute generously to make donations like this possible.”

NEADS is grateful to Dogtopia for its commitment to NEADS and support of our SDV program. This donation will help us continue breeding, raising, training, and matching our World Class Service Dogs with veterans.

The Endeavor production crew worked with NEADS staff and three Puppy Raisers, shooting hours of interviews and on-location footage that they were able to distill into a visual, moving, and engaging story.

But what does that look like day to day? Dana, who has raised two puppies for NEADS and is currently raising her third puppy, shares a few highlights of her puppy raising experience with the two pups she’s raised. What a journey!
