Up close and personal! I’m sure Edison gave the best puppy kisses....they’re 10 times better now! #day152of365

I think I may have found my niche! Edison and I had a great time at the Pound Ridge Pride Day today in my local town center. Thanks to all who came to chat with us at our table. You’ll definitely be seeing us around! #day153of365

Doesn’t take much to get that tail wagging! Edison and I hope you have a great Monday! #day154of365

Roller skating, anyone? Edison (on the right) went everywhere for his weekend outings during his #servicedog training to prepare to work with his future lucky partner! Maybe we’ll head to the rink sometime. Do you think there is a option for roller skating that makes it inclusive for people with physical disabilities? #day155of365

Did you have a serving of fruits and vegetables today? Each day Edison gets 1/4 cup of apples and carrots. As soon as he hears me getting the container out of the refrigerator, he instantly stops whatever he’s doing (usually he is parading around the house happily with a toy in his mouth) and comes to see what all the commotion is about. #day157of365

SMILE.....it’s Friday! #day158of365

The handsomest side-eye I ever did see! Edison was silently asking me if we could go outside and play to enjoy the beautiful weather. I certainly obliged! #day159of365

After Edison finishes a meal, a treat or just plain water, he does laps around the island table in my kitchen — toy in his mouth - and he’s off to the races. I would say he usually does about 8 to 10 laps around…makes dizzy watching him! If we go away somewhere together I always make sure to pack a toy so he can have a similar experience. #day160of365

I think Edison had a case of the Mondays! I invited him up on my bed, and he wanted a belly rub! Now we can officially start our day. We helped each other get going. What’s your way to get yourself going on a Monday morning? #day161of365

Hey everyone! Edison has a challenge for you. We just got a shipment of Edison365 totes and we would love to get NEADS supporters from ALL FIFTY STATES! Whose in!? Can you help us spread the word!? How you can help - purchase a tote, then when you get your tote, snap a pic and tag us. #day162of365

Always nice to have a helping hand to carry some light groceries. Thanks, bud! It was a beautiful day today. We met lots of friendly dogs and humans! #day163of365

When Edison is wearing his vest, he is working. His vest is a critical symbol to him. I tell him to “get dressed” as I am putting on his vest and gentle leader and he instantly transitions from a playful/relaxed mode to focused and working. Every day I appreciate the work NEADS puts into training. The play/work transition (and vice versa) is just one aspect of what they provide for current and future clients. I am so fortunate! #day164of365

Today Edison and I had a wonderful visit to the NEADS campus and helped with some office projects. (Let’s make it clear, I worked while Edison slept! ) We are so glad we could spend the day and give a helping hand “behind the scenes.” #day165of365

Let me just say that yesterday Edison was a rock-star traveler! The trouble started when I took a Lyft from the NEADS campus in Princeton, Massachusetts back to South Station to catch a train home. What should have been easy commute turned into a 3-hour experience that nearly caused me to miss my train. Don’t fret, the good news is that I finally got there and made my train! I will say, that is not the kind of travel adventure I want to ever have again. Edison and I happily rested on our train ride home. It felt like we had just run a marathon. #day166of365
