Happy Father’s Day to my wonderful Dad! He does so much for me and my family each and every day. It’s not an easy job taking care of all that a family needs and he does it so effortlessly. Edison loves him so much and thinks he’s the best guy around. He brings so much love into our lives. Keep on being you, Dad! We love you sooo much! #day167of365

Yesterday was a double day with it being my birthday and Father’s Day! I went out for a nice meal with my family, and Edison assumed his spot next to me. He rested his head in a funny spot against my wheelchair but whatever makes him comfortable. Silly guy! #day168of365

It’s #tongueouttuesday! Edison had a fun time playing with some other dogs when he and I visited the @neadsdogs campus last week. Many of the staff bring their pet dogs to work with them so Edison was thrilled about that. There were no clients there for training so I was happy Edison could run and play for a bit! “Time off” is so Important for my boy. Side note: There is a beautiful and fenced in yard that I wish I had! #day169of365

The weather is gloriously gloomy today, and I think Edison would rather stay home. But, nope, we have to get going! Nice thought though, bud! #day171of365

Happy Friday! Beautiful weather is forecasted for the weekend. Do you have anything fun planned? Are you ready?....This photo is searching for a caption! And....go! And yes, that is puppy Edison! #day172of365

Edison and I had a great time last night at the second Food Truck Friday event. The food was great from selection of food trucks that were there. #day173of365

Edison and I had a great time today in Providence, RI at the PawSox game at McCoy Stadium. It was NEADS Day at the stadium. Clients, staff and volunteers were invited into the field before the game. In addition, a portion of each ticket sale was donated to NEADS. Edison and I loved meeting all the NEADS volunteers with pups in their #servicedog training exposing them to this type of event/environment. #day174of365

Edison, on the right, giving a little smooch during his good old training days! The blue colored vest signifies the @neadsdogs are in training. If you see a red colored vest with the NEADS logo on it, that means that the dog has successfully completed training and is matched with their partner for life! #day175of365

Edison was excited to get his very first @kong.boxyesterday! It had lots of great toys in it! He especially approves of the one with a squeaker in it. Minutes after opening the box he was happily parading around the house with a toy that came in the box. #day176of365

Edison had to have a squishy face to fit in our @lyft ride this morning! Don’t worry, he was very comfortable. I requested the Luxury option so we were riding in style, which I thought would make our ride much smoother. Unfortunately, the driver tried to refuse my ride claiming he “didn’t want the dog to mess up his $10,000 interior.” Lyft deems this behavior unacceptable and have very strict standards when it comes to refusing a service dog. They refunded my money for that ride and they will be taking further action to address the issue. I am very satisfied about how everything was handled but they still have a long way to go in order to stop this from happening entirely. #day177of365

People always ask me where Edison sleeps at night… #day178of365
