It’s time for #throwbackthursday so here is your morning dose of puppy cuteness! #day213of365

Getting Edison out of the car is simple. When I open the door he’s ready. Then I put his leash on my wrist and he waits for me to tell him, “off!” We love to travel together. #day215of365

Yesterday I showed how Edison gets out of the car. He loves riding in the car. He knows not to go up on the seats - I prefer that he not go up on the seat, and that he stay on the floor (NEADS gives their clients different options as to where their dog should ride). As you can see, he’s very comfortable! (Edster is one of his nicknames, isn’t it cute?) #day216of365

Edison and his @neadsdogs puppy friend are looking at something good. Can you guess what it could be? I love when we meet fellow pups in training. #day217of365

Happy Day 2 of #InternationalAssistanceDogWeek! Edison and I have been a team for just about 3 years. I am beyond grateful for all that he has done for me. Right when I need him, he’s there. When I need assistance, he’s there. When I’m happy, he’s there. When I’m sad, he’s there. Through everything, he’s there for me. And....when I just need a kiss....he’s there!! He’s my partner for life. #day218of365

Day 3 of #InternationalAssistanceDogWeek! Edison had some annual shots and a check up at the vet yesterday. He got a clean bill of health - good boy. #day219of365

Day 4 of #InternationaltionalAssistanceDogWeek and Edison has a lot to say about it! What do you think he’s saying? He hopes all of his awesome followers have a great Thursday #day220of365

Today is the final day of #InternationalAssistanceDogWeek! A frequent question I often get is, “Can I pet, feed, or talk to your Service Dog?" The answer is to always ask the owner before approaching a Service Dog. Any form of distraction can be disruptive to our working relationship. In this photo, Edison may look like he is relaxing, but he is laser focused on me and is waiting for my next direction. #day221of365

The size difference!! I gave Edison permission to say a quick hello. I go to this local shopping center frequently and love that Edison and I have made friends over time. Almost every time we go there, we see people we now know and call them our friends. #day222of365

One week from today, Edison and I embark on our trip to California! This video was taken on the plane when we were on our flight to California last February. I’m ready for 2 and a half weeks of a crazy adventure with my buddy by my side every part of the way. #day123of365

It takes a village to get through life. I woke up remembering when I participated in a day of adaptive rock climbing. It was tough work but I’m very thankful for all the people who volunteered their time to help me have my first climbing experience. This was a time before I had considered a Service Dog, but I am so glad that Edison is now part of my team! #day224of365

Do you always carry a bag with you? Then you’re in luck! The Edison365 #totes are eco-friendly and can carry a lot of stuff! In the tote pictured is: •A loaf of bread •3 scones •Date book •Sketch book •Pencil case with art supplies •Eye glasses •Large stuffed wallet •2 dresses •iPhone in the large outer pocket •Eye glass cleaner •Epi pen •Dominos game Proceeds from the sale of these bags benefit NEADS World Class Service Dogs. #day225of365

Last night, Edison and I ventured into New York City to attend a book reading by Sahne Burcaw and Hannah Ayl at Books of Wonder. I’ve been volunteering with @laughingatmynightmareinc for a few months now, helping to keep their social media up to date. They are doing amazing work to bring awareness and acceptance to the disability community. #day226of365

Really making some amazing progress. I did a sit up! !This is something I have never been able to do, butsomething new unfolds during every session. Of course, Edison is always there with me. He’s lying in the right corner out of the picture frame, but he’s there!#day227of365
